How to Use this GOTV Toolkit
NOLC has designed this Get Out the Vote (GOTV) Toolkit to help American legal professionals meet their responsibility to support election protection and encourage public participation in the November 2026 elections. Our Coalition calls on all American lawyers to use their voices, community trust, and advocacy skills to build awareness and understanding among voters of all backgrounds.
Lawyers can use this Toolkit to take immediate action. Here are just a few ideas to get you started:
NOLC welcomes and encourages lawyers, organizations, and rule of law advocates nationwide to share this Toolkit and put it to use in their local networks. You can help get this Toolkit in the hands of lawyers who need it by:
Print NOLC’s 2026 Know Your Voting Rights Guide for local distribution;
Draft a GOTV Constitution Day Op-Ed, building from our template and writing guide;
Use the Alliance for American Rule of Law’s Rule of Law Voter’s Guide to elevate the rule of law as an electoral issue;
Share ready-made graphics and social media posts addressing common, election-related mis-/ disinformation; and
Explore volunteering opportunities and resources from leading voting rights organizations.
Explore the Toolkit and make use of its resources – If you publish an Op-Ed or conduct a GOTV activity in your area, be sure to link it to NOLC and let us know!
Post the Toolkit on your organization’s website as a resource, news item, or blog.
Share the Toolkit with your supporters, subscribers, or members via email or social media.
